Why Epigamy

AWAD, 2/20:

epigamic (ep-i-GAM-ik) adjective

Of or relating to a trait or behavior that attracts a mate.

Examples: In an animal, bright feathers or big antlers.
In a human, a sports car or a big bust.

Probably because it's such a pregnant word. It applies mechanically to my research, but it's tinged with a cynical romance, and Darwin. Darwin is such an easy brush to paint with. I mean, what idea cannot afford some perspective from natural selection. Think of something, really.

God knows which paltry part of my life I'll write here. I'll come up with something. And one day, even, a retrospective explanation for "epigamy".
